Board service is an opportunity to contribute skills, perspective, and care to an organization supporting churches and communities navigating change.

What Board Service Looks Like at CPRe

Board service at Church Properties Reimagined is active and collaborative. We are a working board, meaning members contribute time, expertise, and leadership beyond quarterly meetings.

Board members are expected to:

  • Participate in regular quarterly board meetings

  • Serve on committees formed around organizational needs and goals

  • Engage in strategic thinking and problem-solving

  • Support organizational sustainability and accountability

  • Bring professional expertise and lived experience into shared decision-making

Committees & Areas of Focus

Committees form based on the evolving needs of the organization and the skills of board members.

 

Areas of focus may include:​

  • Property stewardship and facilities

  • Finance and sustainability

  • Governance and policy

  • Fundraising and development

  • Community partnerships

  • Strategic planning

Who We’re Looking For

We seek board members who:

  • Are comfortable with complexity and change

  • Value collaboration and shared leadership

  • Bring experience in nonprofit, faith-based, property, finance, legal, community development, or related fields

  • Are willing to be both strategic and hands-on

  • Share a commitment to mission-centered stewardship
